ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Founded in 1896, Beulah Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation encouraging people to know and respond to Jesus Christ. We minister as led by the Holy Spirit, through Bible Study, and by teaching real life application.

MEET OUR PASTOR
John David Shanks, Pastor of Beulah Baptist Church, was born April 11, 1980 to David and Pamila Shanks. Educated in the public schools of Washington County, TN, he graduated from David Crockett High School in 1999. Following graduation, he continued his education at Northeast State, Blountville, TN and East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2005. Pastor Shanks was saved and baptized July 26, 1986 at the age of six years old, licensed as a minister of the Gospel in 2007, and ordained in 2019.
